Roan Thibodault comes from a long line of Incubi and Succubi who understand the traditions of the demon breeds. Since they were children, he has understood that Winifred (Freddie) Marten is his Tether. Freddie has always been his, despite the fact that she’s never given him the time of day or tried to understand the implications of his possessiveness or comments.

When the perfect opportunity arises to prove to her once and for all that they are made for one another, Roan is excited that she’s agreed to get on board. But when Legenetics, a shady research conglomerate, takes over their lives and starts playing with what fate had planned for them, it becomes a nightmare for both.
