The Newsletter That Wasn’t

Hey smutty book reading friends!

May and June have been crazy and I’m not going to lie, the last two weeks of this month are going to be stupid silly. I have Kiss and Tell in Grapevine, Texas then Getting Witchy With It in New Orleans. I have social anxiety and I don’t know how I would do these things without anxiety meds and the ability to fall deep into a persona who isn’t me.  It’s enough to work through the day of the signing, but anyone who knows me probably thinks I’ve been possessed.

I also want to share my PAs. Here is Kalie and Owen who took me to the Virginia Aquarium and came to see me on the day of the signing, allowing me to tell them all about my vegan pizza experience while they were there. Love ya, both for being my VB fam!

At Any Cost, Omegaverse, Writing

It’s been so long!

Where have I been? I’ve been hiding in the writing cave.

I’ve a really acute case of writer’s block and I’m slowly dragging this out of my soul in fits. It’s not that it’s shit, it’s that my brain is so foggy these days. I’ve been dealing with migraines, cluster headaches and side effects of meds. I miss winters in San Diego. I don’t like this season’s depression.

So, all that said, Kalie and David are keeping me going on At Any Cost. I am trying to do 500 words a day… I normally do 4000. This is obviously a huge stressor, not producing as much as I have on every other book. I’m on Chapter 15. I think this draft will be about 36, so I have no clue when it will come out.
