Here is the sign-up for the Xpresso Book Blitz Tour for It Feels Like Home. It takes place July 5th-12th, and you don’t have to do an ARC review, although that would make me over the moon.
ARCs will be available through Xpresso Book Tours, Booksprout, and my ARC Team.
Okay, not a total cover reveal for It Feels Like Home. I suck. I’m a brain trust and sent the cover to Xpresso to set up tours, so they had it, and Xpresso posted it with the sign-up. I should wait to do big things when writing on a deadline so I can do them correctly. I can barely get up these days. Exhaustion is a real thing. Exhaustion is the thing of the day.
Title: Haunted by Desire Author: Emmaleigh Wynters (Emmaleigh Loader) Genre: Paranormal & Urban Fantasy Release Date: October 31, 2022
His Love For Her Was Alive, Even If He Wasn’t
Astra I never knew there was a life after death. A world beyond the Veil. I also never knew I had a stalker, one who watched me from the shadows and vowed to protect me forever. Or that he died saving me. His sacrifice, left me haunted…
Hunter I saw her once. The girl with ocean blue eyes and a problematic smile. She was a deviant under the surface. I knew mischief dwelled within her troublemaker’s heart. So I decided she’d be mine. Only I forgot to tell her that. I became obsessed with her.
I have been working primarily on this title because it is killer to work on two titles with two release dates so close together. I don’t know how other authors do it. I was exhausted all the freaking time, and it was killing my vibe.
I’ll be back full-time to Jump’s book on the 1st when I finish this book. IFLH goes to beta readers on June 1st and has a release on July 5th.
Title: It Feels Like Home Genre: Contemporary, Mature YA/Teen Romance Tropes: Second Chance Romance, Enemies-to-Lovers, Coming of Age Release Date: JULY 05, 2023
Can you believe it? It’s feast or famine with me. I either forget to do it for so long it’s pointless, or now I’m writing two books, and I have two teasers.
Celebrating Erin Wilkerson’s New Release with Xpresso Tours!
Title: Resonate (The Avalon Series, #1) Author: Erin Wilkerson Genre: Dystopian, Science Fiction, Young Adult Release Date: May 1st, 2023
Sixteen year old Tamar Linsky has had enough!
After surviving twenty-two devastating quakes on an increasingly unstable Earth, she leaves the slow destruction of her world behind for an internship as far away from tragedy as she can get—humanity’s first lunar colony.
Lunar Base One is a high-tech research facility brimming with the brightest young minds from all over the world, but through it all, she will beat her peers and make a name for herself as a groundbreaking scientist. Even if a good-looking prankster threatens to distract her—knowing relationships are forbidden—bringing more secrets and drama than Tamar can bear.
Just when she thought she was getting a grip on the pressure, a geological catastrophe wipes out civilization back home.
Now cut off from the Earth she was desperate to escape, Tamar and her crew must find a way to survive on their own.
Oh, look, I missed WIP Wednesday again. If I’m on time, I got there because I didn’t know what day it was. I will still apologize for being late because I’ll be assuming it’s the wrong day. Alas, today is genuinely Thursday, and I missed yesterday doing proofreading, so here is yesterday’s WIP.
I had plans of focusing only on JUMPER when May 1 hit. I had every intention of putting It Feels Like Home aside and working on only one thing, but I can’t seem to do that. I have plugged both projects into my Pacemaker Planner. The idea is to finish JUMPER by the end of this month and IFLH by the end of July. I’m a little off-kilter, though, because I’m at 5% of JUMPER and 21% of IFLH. That’s backward.
Lizzy is celebrating the release of her new book Alien Shadow Market! I can’t wait to dig into it!
Author: Lizzy Bequin Title: Alien Shadow Market (Sold to the Raksha #3) Genre: Sci-fi Romance, Alien Romance Release Date: April 28, 2023
Savannah thought she had a problem with authority. Then she met the Raksha.
Four purple-skinned warriors with faces like demons and bodies like gods. They rescued her from captivity and gave her a place to stay aboard their ship. There’s just one condition.
She has to play by their rules.
And the Raksha play for keeps.
The stern captain runs his ship with an iron fist—and a leather riding crop. Any female who gets on his bad side will find herself bent over and disciplined while the crew looks on.
But Savannah’s punishment isn’t even the most shameful part. It’s the way her body begs for more, even as her lips beg for mercy.
And when the discipline is finally over, that’s when the sharing begins.
Alien Shadow Marketis the third book in the Sold to the Raksha series. Each book in the series is a complete, self-contained romance, but together the books form an overarching saga. This story contains intense scenes and situations that might trigger some readers—please see the Author’s Note at the beginning of the book. No cheating, HEA guaranteed.
I don’t have much to update about WIPs this week since I spent most of the past week in The Bahamas. I haven’t worked on It Feels Like Home or JUMPER since my last update, although I intend to write today. So let me share photos of my trip with you here—a few more than I shared in my newsletter or Facebook for good measure. I hope you enjoy my travels and travails.
Firstly, I should explain that my husband was invited to take this trip through work. It was something he earned at work as a top performer. I was a plus one because my husband would lose an eye and a testicle if he suggested taking anyone else. It was basically all-inclusive and so very Gucci that I wanted to steal the cappuccino cups in my room, and if I weren’t Honest Ali, I might have. They were so very cute.
